I love this song–especially with the video (see it at the end of this post).
When love sees you…
How many get it?
God loves you.
He died for you. When you are hurting and scared and feeling all alone, He is there. He feels your pain.
Before I went to work, I had my prayer time with God and I just listened to this song as I prayed and the tears came.
Sometimes, this walk is hard and I feel miserable, and the only thing that gets me through it to reach out to the One who knows me through and through and still [ GET THIS! ] loves me and accepts me and wants to have a personal relationship with me.
When we reach that point when we have nothing left…When our tank is empty and we just don’t want to go on any longer, that is when we can really feel the love and grace of God fall upon us.
Everything else gets in the way…creates static.
But when we’re sunk down low, He fills our hearts with His love and peace and so we can rise again.
I guess the lesson to be learned is that the closer we walk with Him, the more we feel His presence and the less miserable we will feel.
He doesn’t promise believers that their walk will be easy and without pain, but it is possible to have joy and peace in the midst of our circumstances.
I am thankful to always have His presence with me, but I cannot wait until that day I see Him, face to face.
I guess that’s why I feel so emotional about this video.
Can you imagine what it would have been like to live at the time of Jesus?
To laugh with him, to see the miracles, to hear His voice.
When you see Love and Love sees you.
I can’t wait.
How about you?
In His Grace,
Jerry
Blessed are you as you weep on your knees
With perfume and tears washing over My feet
And blessed are you, beggar, hopeless and blind
Calling for mercy when I’m passing byBlessed are you, shaking your head
At two tiny fish and some bread
And blessed are you as you tremble and wait
For the first stone thrown at your sinful disgraceTell Me your story, show Me your wounds
And I’ll show you what Love sees when Love looks at you
Hand Me the pieces, broken and bruised
And I’ll show you what Love sees when Love sees youBlessed are you, walking on waves
To find yourself sinking when you look away
Blessed are you, leper, standing alone
The fear on their faces is all that you’ve knownBlessed are you, lonely widow who gave
Your last shiny coin to Yahweh
Blessed are you with your silver and lies
Kissing the One who’s saving your lifeTell Me your story, show Me your wounds
And I’ll show you what Love sees when Love looks at you
Hand Me the pieces, broken and bruised
And I’ll show you what Love sees when Love sees youI see what I made in your mother’s womb
And I see the day I fell in love with you
I see your tomorrows, nothing left to chance
I see My Father’s fingerprintsI see your story, I see My name
Written on every beautiful page
You see the struggle, you see the shame
I see the reason I cameI came for your story, I came for your wounds
To show you what Love sees when I see youYeah, yeah, when I see you

This is EXACTLY what I am feeling today. Low. Broken. Beaten down. Thank you for these awesome reminders and a beautiful song.
