Forgive me, but I am SO excited to be hosting such an important Link-up. What better thing is there than to be thankful to our Lord!?
This may seem extremely cheesy, but hear me out, it’s true: I’m very thankful that the Lord led me to discover couponing. He actually opened my hardened heart about it. I have to admit that I was one of those girls who said “I have NO time for couponing. I would never be able to do it.” Well, He changed my mind and I started around the time Jace was born (so 2009), and it has helped out our family so much. I know we scrimp now, but before coupons, it was crazy tough! And, yeah I know some people don’t feel they should coupon (and know how they feel), because they don’t have time, or there aren’t coupons for the kinds of things they use. Not exactly true. You can get coupons for produce, frozen veggies and fruits, and meats. You can find coupons for toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, shampoo, makeup, plates and cups, paper towels, toilet paper…Every cent you save with a coupon to buy something you would have bought anyway is a help! And the time spent is really worth it in the long run, I promise.
SavingStar is an awesome affiliate I have partnered with. I’ve been using SS for a couple years now, and love it. See in the sidebar, on the bottom, the coupon box? It’s for adding digital coupons to a store card, like Kroger’s. If you buy something with the coupon clipped, you get money put into your SavingStar account. When it reaches $5, you can get paypal cash, or giftcards to cash out, or just let it accrue to get a larger amount later. I love it!
Until 4/28 they have an awesome deal: Save 20% on loose Apples in the produce section. They also have 20 Creative Recipes on their Healthy Offer of the Week Recipe Blog!
And now, for the very first Thankful Thursday Link-up! (#2.0 since I’m taking over from Iris!) I’m so excited to have you join us! 🙂 I can actually hear a drum-roll in my head! (And to those of you who say I’m using too many exclamation points: Oh well. :P) 😀
