I feel awful that last week I was so out of it that I missed Thankful Thursday! You know it would have been all about my mom. So I’ll just do it late for Mother’s Day – I’m into being thankful for her all the time anyway.

My mom is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. I was the first child. Growing up, we had our ups and downs, but she has always been by my side since the beginning. Now that I am an adult with kids of my own, I appreciate her even more. She is my best friend, after my husband, and I really don’t know what I’d do without her! She is also the best grandmother ever to the boys. They adore her and anytime Gramma comes over is celebration time! They have so much fun with her. She works with kids for her job, and is great at it.

I am thankful to the Lord every day for blessing me with my mom. I’m so proud to be her daughter!

Thanks, Lord, for my mama. I love her so much, and I’m so glad that you blessed me with her!

Play fair:

*Pretty please follow me – see social links at the top of the site. (I’ll love you forever!)

*Please link up this week’s post, not just your home page url.

*Share the love – please visit and comment on at least 2 other posts. Everyone loves comments! (You know it’s true!)

*Grab a Button or text link back to Thankful Thursday on Busy Being Blessed (see code below and other image options here.).

(Please note that your link will NOT be approved if you don’t give me your Thankful post link, not your url link, and if you don’t have a post about Thankfulness with the code included.)

Tell us, what are you thankful for this week?

JennAbout Jenn: I’m a Christian wife to an amazing man (since 1998) and a stay-at-home-teaching mom to four special & incredible boys (born in 2004, 2005, 2007, & 2009). I’m messy and cluttered, but working on that (really, I am!). I’m a discouraged perfectionist and a classic procrastinator who probably has both ADD & Autism, so I tend to jump from topic to topic (and activity to activity) without notice. My Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. I’m an INFP who enjoys friends but loves to be alone. I love getting and giving hugs, and encouragement is a Spiritual gift of mine that can too-easily be turned into the weapon of discouragement, if I’m not careful. I enjoy writing, singing, words, drawing, photography, digital creations, and reading. Oh, and pizza, tacos, and steak. Now I’m hungry. That reminds me; I eat gluten free and try to eat organic and avoid white sugar and GMOs as much as possible.  Find me on Facebook (Writer/Editor page) (Fan page), Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.
