I admit that I have felt discouraged that no one else is stepping up for Thankful Thursday. This is no excuse for me to forgo it myself, however. I’m ashamed that it’s been nearly a month since I’ve posted it. So I will run it even if I’m the only one to do so! 🙂

Today I am thankful for my hard-working husband. Even working two jobs, he is still such a steady force in our family, in the lives of our boys, and in the maintenance of our home. He seriously is amazing, and I love him so much. I don’t know what we’d do without him…and I really don’t ever want to know.

I am thankful each and every day for blessing me with my husband. I honestly got a real catch with that man. <3

Play fair:

*Pretty please follow me – see social links at the top of the site. (I’ll love you forever!)

*Please link up this week’s post, not just your home page url.

*Share the love – please visit and comment on at least 2 other posts. Everyone loves comments! (You know it’s true!)

*Grab a Button or text link back to Thankful Thursday on Busy Being Blessed (see code below and other image options here.).

(Please note that your link will NOT be approved if you don’t give me your Thankful post link, not your url link, and if you don’t have a post about Thankfulness with the code included.)

Tell us, what are you thankful for this week?

JennAbout Jenn: I’m a Christian wife to an amazing man (since 1998) and a stay-at-home-teaching mom to four special & incredible boys (born in 2004, 2005, 2007, & 2009). I’m messy and cluttered, but working on that (really, I am!). I’m a discouraged perfectionist and a classic procrastinator who probably has both ADD & Autism, so I tend to jump from topic to topic (and activity to activity) without notice. My Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. I’m an INFP who enjoys friends but loves to be alone. I love getting and giving hugs, and encouragement is a Spiritual gift of mine that can too-easily be turned into the weapon of discouragement, if I’m not careful. I enjoy writing, singing, words, drawing, photography, digital creations, and reading. Oh, and pizza, tacos, and steak. Now I’m hungry. That reminds me; I eat gluten free and try to eat organic and avoid white sugar and GMOs as much as possible.  Find me on Facebook (Writer/Editor page) (Fan page), Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.

  1. Jenn, I found your blog through a link up – and in just reading your bio I see how much I have in common with you (wife, homeschooled (no kids yet), reading, baking, cooking, hates dishes, writer…)! I’m glad you did this thankful post even if you’re the only one 🙂 I write to girls/young women ages 14-25 but I love your blog and will definitely be back.
