Welcome to Grace & Truth Week 44!

[x_accordion_item parent_id=”aboutgraceandtruth” title=”What Is Grace & Truth?”]The Grace & Truth Link-up exists to point people to Jesus! We hope this link-up will be a source of encouragement each and every week. It’s run by 8 Christian women (see below, under “Your Hosts”). If you’re a blogger our hope is that you’ll use this space as a way to meet new friends within the Christian blogging community. If you’re a reader our hope is that you’ll meet new bloggers that love Jesus just as much as you do! Most of all, we hope you’ll meet Jesus here.[/x_accordion_item]

[extra href=”#example” title=”What is a blog hop, link-up, linky or link party exactly?” info=”popover” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=”A blog hop is a list of links that is SHARED ON MULTIPLE BLOGS. When several blogs put the same linky code on their blog, the exact same list appears on each blog. Blog visitors can submit their entries on any blog that contains the list. The entries will appear on each blog where the list resides. Blog readers see the same list on each blog, and can HOP from blog to blog seeing the same list of links to follow.” ] What is a blog hop, Link-up, Linky or Link Party? [/extra] At the beginning of each new link-up week (which happens to be Friday), the Hosts will post their favorite post of the previous week, to be “featured” (see “The Rules” below for directions on how to be featured!).

Featured Post :: Week 44

At the beginning of each new link-up week (which happens to be Friday), each host will feature her favorite post from the week’s link-up (see “The Rules” below for directions on how to be featured). There were lots of good ones this week, but I selected a post from Penny Pinching Peach. This is not normally the kind of post to be highlighted on G&T, but I am so in this moment right now, that I need reminding that I’m not the only one going through struggles. God’s got this, I know.

My youngest is NOT a threenager, he’s a six year old, but he still does these things. Only he doesn’t wake a baby (since we have no baby), but he wakes his papa, who works night shifts and needs to sleep during the day.

Threenager yelling out so loud,
Waking baby and feeling proud.
Leaving destruction wherever he goes
Hard to imagine he’ll get better as he grows…
But he will.Penny Pinching Peach

I hope you’ll check out the rest of the post for her entire poem. It’s really beautiful and touching!

Thanks for linking with us, Keisha! Congratulations. 😀 Here’s a button for you, just in case you don’t have one. 🙂

Grace&Truth-Rules2

1.) Follow your hosts via their blog and/or social media channels. This is not mandatory, but appreciated!

2.) Leave 1-2 of your most recent CHRISTIAN LIVING posts. Please do not link DIY, crafts, recipes, non-relevant reviews, ads, etc. Links of this kind will be deleted.
We also reserve the right to delete posts that don’t align with the theme of evangelical Christianity or that are deemed by the hostesses to be inappropriate.

3.) Visit 1-2 other links and leave a meaningful comment! We want to encourage community, so please don’t link and run!

4.) All links are randomly sorted – feel free to link as early or as late as you’d like. The visible playing field is even!

In order to be featured next week:
5.) Grab a button or link back to encourage new linkers. This is not mandatory to participate, but is required to be featured. Any place noticeable is fine – within your post or in your sidebar.

6.) Each host will choose one link to feature and promote via their social media channels next week.

7.) By linking up you agree to allow the hosts to use your featured post image if you are chosen as a feature for next week. By linking up and leaving your email address, you also agree to receiving e-mails relating to Grace and Truth.

JennAbout Jenn: I’m a Christian wife to an amazing man (since 1998) and a stay-at-home-teaching mom to four special & incredible boys (born in 2004, 2005, 2007, & 2009). I’m messy and cluttered, but working on that (really, I am!). I’m a discouraged perfectionist and a classic procrastinator who probably has both ADD & Autism, so I tend to jump from topic to topic (and activity to activity) without notice. My Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. I’m an INFP who enjoys friends but loves to be alone. I love getting and giving hugs, and encouragement is a Spiritual gift of mine that can too-easily be turned into the weapon of discouragement, if I’m not careful. I enjoy writing, singing, words, drawing, photography, digital creations, and reading. Oh, and pizza, tacos, and steak. Now I’m hungry. That reminds me; I eat gluten free and try to eat organic and avoid white sugar and GMOs as much as possible.  Find me on Facebook (Writer/Editor page) (Fan page), Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.
