Christmas cards

well aren’t i good! i have nearly 50 of my Christmas cards done! i still have about that many to go though. since i lost my address book, i can’t send these others out until i get my address book back, or until these people email me their addresses! hehe. it’s really frustrating that i lost the book in the first place. i think jerry must have moved it somewhere that is too hidden (he is a neat freak) but i have looked everywhere i can think of, and he’s looked some as well. sigh.
37 bucks for 100 stamps. it doesn’t seem right does it. also indiana now has 6% sales tax! how sick is that?!

i went shopping with my mama yesterday. didn’t get much but i helped her pick out things for me. my family doesn’t like getting things for eachother unless they know it fits and the person will like it. takes out all the fun and surprise in my opinion…but i guess it’s nice knowing i’ll like what i get. oh, she got a great quilt for jerry and my couple gift. it’s sooooo pretty. we were wanting to incorporate yellows and blues into our room, and the quilt has those colors sooo pretty. once we get it i’ll have to take a picture of it in the room. 🙂

my tummy is mostly better. strangely it’s worse in the morning. thankfully it’s not affecting my appetite anymore.

everything seems so strange. all of december always feels strange to me – like the whole month should be a holiday hehe. it feels like i’m living in a daydream. not good or bad – just strange. does that make sense? i know it’s not that i’m feeling stressed about the gifts and stuff, because we were smart this year and only have one gift for my dad left and one for my mom left. we got everything else done and out of the way early. and it feels nice! oh, i’ll still get jerry a little something here and there, but really i’m done.

well i guess i’ll go blog hopping now. i hope everyone is having a good week. love and God bless!

Hi Jenn, I’m so glad you liked our wedding website 🙂 I know what you mean about December feeling like a daydream. Not good or bad. I think for me it’s because I have so many memories of this time. My parents divorced when I was 18 & things haven’t been quite the same. My grandmother passed away this past August so everything is a little "off" for me.
I guess the only way to "ground" ourselves in December is to pray & cherish each moment! Have a wonderful Tuesday! 🙂 ~Blessings & Hugs~
