here is an email i sent out to friends, just so you all know what’s going on. i’m still not in a super-talkative mood, but i’m hopeful ๐Ÿ™‚

i wanted to let everyone know how we’re doing on our infertility journey.

AF arrived saturday so i began using the clomid yesterday. i’m taking that until friday. then on the 20th i’m going to get an ultrasound that will check egg development. if the eggs are mature i will be given hCG (novarel) by injection to induce ovulation.

then 16 days after the injection i will be given a pregnancy test.

i just wanted to let everyone know that we really need prayer in the next few weeks about this. i am feeling strange from the drug – it’s making my tummy feel strange – all bubbly or something. so hopefully that means it’s working! ๐Ÿ™‚

i am HOPEFUL that the first month will be successful, but i’m not counting on it. sometimes it takes a few months for it to work. but i’m confident the Lord will bless us with a child soon. i know your prayers will only strengthen my faith. ๐Ÿ™‚

God bless and have a great week.

Hi!! I love your site and, of course, I wish you a lot of luck.
Hi!! I love your site and, of course, I wish you a lot of luck.
    I’ll pray for you!!
My boyfriend Heinrich & I would very much like to have children too, rather sooner than later. But, it doesn’t look it will work anytime soon if at all…
He was sick for 3 years and now, just as we thought, we could start a family, the doctors have found that I have a form of cancer (Hodgkin’s). So, it puts family planning off for a while and it is quite possible that I won’t be able to have my own kids afterwards (due the side-effects of the treatment)….
Maybe,, you can pray for me a little too?
Anyway, I’m sure things will work out just fine for you!
I’d love to hear from you…
    Take care!
