well i’m sick. i have been throwing up off and on all week because of congestion and a cough (my gag reflex works overtime anyway, but when i’m sick it’s HORRIBLE! 😡 ) at the dr appt yesterday he prescribed something for me. hopefully it kicks in soon.
also, i am up half a pound since the last appt. i figured with my throwing up i’d have lost weight, but i’m glad i at least gained that half a pound. he seemed pleased too. i measured 31 (what’s it called, fundal height?). he said that was great. and jeremiah’s heartrate was 142. he said for my next appt, he is giving me my flu shot. whoopie.
at the class we learned all about the epidural, all about c-sections (just in case), about inductions, and we went on the tour. that was the best part. the rooms are really nice. there’s the triage room (for when you come in before you’re actually in labor), the LDR (labor and delivery room), and the post-partum room (i loved it!). we also saw the nicu, oh the tiny babies were so adorable!!
all in all, my favorite class session so far.
i really hope i am feeling a bit better tomorrow. we still have no idea how many people will be at the shower. i’m so glad to know that my friend zhou is coming though. 🙂 she is unable to attend the church shower, so she’s coming to this one. i’m sure we’ll have fun no matter how many people are there. it’s not until 3 tomorrow, so it will be tomorrow night when i update about it. i will be able to post pix almost immediately because i have my camera all batteried up, and have new ones just in case!!!
well i need to go do email, so i’ll see ya’ll soon.

I hope you are feeling better real soon. I’m coming down with another cold. All thanks to the weather changing back and forth. Take care and get lots of rest.

  2. Being sick is no fun. I hope you feel better soon.

RYN: Dh and I have a 50.00 budget for each of us for Christmas. $20.00 of that is for stocking stuffers and $30.00 for the gift. I’ve already spent $15.00 of the $30.00 alotted for the ‘big’ gift so now I am stuck having to find something equally as nice for only $15.00. This year we SWEAR we are sticking to the rules. So I am. It’s just hard because my husband always asks for perdictable stuff like jeans, shirts, and a new wallet. I’d like to be creative, AND get him something he needs. Now that I only have $15.00 left I am running short of ideas.
