well i’ve been sick as a dog this weekend!! i throw up my saltines, my ginger snaps, my ginger ale, whatever i try in the morning. i’m getting annoyed!
i’m almost two months pregnant now, can you believe it?! i’m due jan. 9. it’s starting to seem not so far away anymore for some reason. and know what’s soooo strange? i have been thinking a lot about the twins thing – having a boy and a girl, you know, it’s always been a dream of mine. but anyhow, now JERRY is thinking it would be cool to have twins, a boy and a girl. that way, we would have two already, and if we ever had problems in the future, we’d already have our boy and our girl. funny huh? and so many people have been saying stuff about what if it’s twins? my mom asked where we would put a second crib, and i have no idea about that – the baby’s room isn’t very big.

i wanted to comment to a person who doesn’t know me, who said i acted as if i was glass and would break at any moment. are you kidding me? you obviously don’t know all we’ve been through to get pregnant. you don’t realize how important this to me. the nurse told me not to lift more than 20 or 25 lbs, and i’m just sticking with under 20 to be on the safe side. the first three months are the most critical, and i’m treating my body and my baby with as much care as possible. i’m not an invalid by any means, but this baby is important to me. using drug crazed 14 year olds as examples is DUMB. those babies do NOT turn out healthy and normal, as i want my baby to be. so next time you want to put your nose into something you know nothing about, DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

ok, i had to get it off my chest because the certain lady really made me mad.

anyway, in case you missed it, i have posted the registries i’m listed with right now. there are various prices for things, and i of course would never consider my friends paying a lot of money for something. oh, i LOVE knit and homemade stuff, so if anyone wants to make something for me and baby, lavender and mint green are the colors. and we are using lambs, precious moments and baby snoopy as the themes. you can also just look at the baby registries to get an idea about the style of the room – babies r us is the one that our bedding is through.

i’m not begging for gifts, believe me, i’m just so excited and rambling! LOL. we are buying some of that really soft yarn and sending it to jerry’s mom so she can make some blankies for us. she is good at that. i really wish i knew how to sew or to quilt!!!

well i don’t know what else to write…i’m just so excited!!!!! πŸ™‚

Hi, I’m the lady who ticked you off a few days ago.
Hi, I’m the lady who ticked you off a few days ago. Heh. Anyway, I feel the need to clarify a couple of things/defend myself. Remember I said lifting things is no big deal IF the doctor hasn’t said not to.Yours has said not to,so okay. Second, I never said 14 year old druggies had healthy babies. I only used them as a worst-case example. As in,if those people can do it, I’ll bet you can. I also said I didn’t mean to be negative, just real. I get a lot of bad reactions to my style of speech, on computers and in life. I don’t sugar -coat things, and as a result, people miss the point. I wish you and yours the best, even if it isn’t reciprocated. -Ta.

Oh yes, I almost forgot. A dear friend of mine used to eat strawberries every morning. She said that they didn’t taste bad coming back up. I know… ewww, but it’s a suggestion anyway. πŸ™‚

Sheesh! You’d hope if someone was going to post remarks that “weren’t meant to be offensive” they’d at least have the guts to post a real email address or website! LOL! How totally cowardly! Anyway, girl, I KNOW YOU and I know the pain and struggle you’ve been through during the past few years. You rest and take it easy whether the dr says to or not. It’s only a few months out of your entire life and what an investment you’re making! Your little one(s) will thank you!! As for the morning sickness…I’m the queen of that as you know! Just take it a day at a time. This too SHALL pass. It really will and the best is yet to come!!! *hugs*

I love the comment–What she”s saying is”Basically I”m a rude insensitive person-so I force everyone to deal with it by being unapoligetically abrasive and rude-deal with it!” Well Jenn Bear I prayed every night and morning “Please let me keep these babies”, and “Thank you-I made it through another day!” The one thing Ive learned -every pregnancy is as individual as the children we carry-Some will share your experiences, some wont understand what morning sickness is like. But know that your not alone-The sisterhood of mothers is welcoming you as one of our own-And we love sharing Your Precious Moments. Bear Hugz!

Eating small amounts of fruit in the morning may help nausea. I didn’t have morning sickness when I was pregnant, but I have had the flu a few times. πŸ™‚

Soon you’ll be able to get an ultrasound and see if it’s a boy or girl…or both. How exciting for you! πŸ™‚

I don’t use my real e-mail address because I am 90% computer illiterate. πŸ™‚ Plus I have been around “Christians” enough to know that a lot of them would send me nasty letters, maybe even a virus, if they thought they could get away with it. I’m sure you wouldn’t, Jenn, but I don’t know who reads this journal.

Oh,yeah, by the way…I DO know you. Isn’t the internet a hoot?

HI Jenn! Sounds like it is going good over your way! You hang in there! : )

Since my post follows “Mrs. Much” …. who is REALLY too much — I have a word or two to say . . . . . . quoting her “I get a lot of bad reactions to my style of speech, on computers and in life” and she went on to say she didn’t sugar coat things… HEY Mrs. Much… it’s not a matter of sugar coating… how about just be KIND, rather than rude, or crude?! And if you regularly receive bad reactions to the things you say.. maybe you need to THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK…. and follow the principles of scripture.. show kindness. Say those things which build up and edify others — not those things that tear down, belittle, ridicule, HURT others. Sounds to me as if you LIKE and enjoy being ornery. What a shame. If you know Jenn, why do feel a need to hurt her? Why come here at all, if you come with no good intentions?

Well Jenn Girl… take care of yourself! Every day that goes by… is one day closer!

    Love and hugs

    Lynn
