Number five: Offer a hand
Philippians 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Do you know someone who is experiencing trouble, hard times, or an illness? Offer a helping hand to her.
When I was pregnant (I had awful Hyperemesis during my pregnancies) it was such a huge blessing to have people bring meals for the family, offer to clean house, watch the boys or run errands for me. It encouraged my heart so much, and made me feel so loved.
Do you know someone who would love a meal, a ride, or an offer of help? How about a gift card to a restaurant for a family practically living in a hospital because of an ill or hurt loved one?
Think outside the box and offer a helping hand to someone.
I’d love to hear what ideas you come up with! Please share!
God bless,
Jenn
PS I just saw this this morning and it encouraged my heart, so I had to share it. This is exactly what I’m talking about! So thankful for the Body of Christ for how they helped to encourage and bless Raquel and her family!
Jenn, great post! We all at some point in time know someone that could definitely use our help! Currently I have a friend who’s mother passed away and I will be sending her a Care package. We are called to be a blessing to others! Looking forward to exploring your blog! #BloggerCareGroup
