Welcome to Grace & Truth Week 33!

What is Grace & Truth?

Grace & Truth (a blog Link-up, Linky or Link Party) exists to point people to Jesus! We hope this link-up will be a source of encouragement each and every week. It’s run by 8 Christian women (I know my math is bad, but can you believe that I’ve been saying 7 women, for 27 weeks? Not counting myself?! Oy! My poor kids…). If you’re a blogger our hope is that you’ll use this space as a way to meet new friends within the Christian blogging community. If you’re a reader our hope is that you’ll meet new bloggers that love Jesus just as much as you do! Most of all, we hope you’ll meet Jesus here.

At the beginning of each new link-up week (which happens to be Friday), the Hosts will post their favorite post of the previous week, to be “featured” (see below for directions on how to be featured!).

Featured Post

Dear Aimee, once again, your post touched my heart. It was the first post I read for the week, and I knew as soon as I read it that it was “the one!” Here is a button, in case you need it. 😉 Congratulations, you deserve it!

Aimee and I seem to be kindred spirits. She writes a lot of things that really resonate with me. I find myself nodding my head and agreeing most of the time. This post was no different. And when she quoted CS Lewis, well, then I HAD to feature the post, right?!

[Tweet “Don’t doubt your value. Don’t run from who you are. ~Aslan @aimeeimbeau”]

Dont-run-from-who-you-are

Have you chosen to wish yourself away? Have you wished you were different in a small way and in the process lost much more than you had intended to? Have you lost the identity Christ has given to you? Have you doubted your value so much that you have run from who you are? Do you understand that there are people who would not know Jesus if it weren’t for you? Are you prepared for the consequences that come with wishing yourself away?

Aimee even has a printable of the above image on her site to remind us of God’s love for us. I hope you’ll read her post and be blessed!

Grace&Truth-Rules2

1.) Follow your hosts via their blog and/or social media channels. This is not mandatory, but appreciated!

2.) Leave 1-2 of your most recent CHRISTIAN LIVING posts. Please do not link DIY, crafts, recipes, non-relevant reviews, ads, etc. Links of this kind will be deleted.
We also reserve the right to delete posts that don’t align with the theme of evangelical Christianity or that are deemed by the hostesses to be inappropriate.

3.) Visit 1-2 other links and leave a meaningful comment! We want to encourage community, so please don’t link and run!

4.) All links are randomly sorted – feel free to link as early or as late as you’d like. The visible playing field is even!

In order to be featured next week:
5.) Grab a button or link back to encourage new linkers. This is not mandatory to participate, but is required to be featured. Any place noticeable is fine – within your post or in your sidebar.

6.) Each host will choose one link to feature and promote via their social media channels next week.

7.) By linking up you agree to allow the hosts to use your featured post image if you are chosen as a feature for next week.

JennAbout Jenn: I’m a Christian wife to an amazing man (since 1998) and a stay-at-home-teaching mom to four special & incredible boys (born in 2004, 2005, 2007, & 2009). I’m messy and cluttered, but working on that (really, I am!). I’m a discouraged perfectionist and a classic procrastinator who probably has both ADD & Autism, so I tend to jump from topic to topic (and activity to activity) without notice. My Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. I’m an INFP who enjoys friends but loves to be alone. I love getting and giving hugs, and encouragement is a Spiritual gift of mine that can too-easily be turned into the weapon of discouragement, if I’m not careful. I enjoy writing, singing, words, drawing, photography, digital creations, and reading. Oh, and pizza, tacos, and steak. Now I’m hungry. That reminds me; I eat gluten free and try to eat organic and avoid white sugar and GMOs as much as possible.  Find me on Facebook (Writer/Editor page) (Fan page), Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.

  1. We ARE kindred spirits, Jenn! That was the actual term I immediately thought of when I read the comment you left on my blog post! You bless me so much with your words above. Thank you.
Thank you so much for featuring my post. I did write a ‘part 2’, but I changed the title to “A Tiny Mustard Seed Is All It Takes”.
I am just so honoured that you chose my post to feature. Now I have to go brag to my hubby…;)
