i for one cannot believe my sweet little star is 6 weeks old. how can this be??
at our wic appointment on monday, he was 8lbs 1 1/2oz and 21in long. she said she never gets the same length as peds do, so i’ll assume he’s at least a bit longer than that! she is pleased with how much he gained since his 4 week weight w/ the lactation consultant.
jamin is doing much better with not needing me to nurse him ALL.THE.TIME now. i have a groove going with the supplements, and he is doing great. i am also pumping which is nice – thanks amanda for the pump!!
jamin is so sweet and so adorable. he isn’t focusing on us as well as i’d like him to. and he doesn’t smile very often. his smile is SOOO sweet tho.
once again i don’t have a ton of time to post…i promise, sweet jamin, i will post a lot soon! i love you so much little baby boy!!
but here are some pics of him, taken today, for all of you who keep begging me. 😛
and yes, precious boy has some baby acne right now. 🙁
What a sweetie! I can’t believe he’s six weeks old either! Time sure flies!
WONDERFUL photos!!! I love the footsie one! Adorable!!! I think you should make a layout, of just THAT photo… Maybe with a line or two from Sandi Patti’s “Beautiful Feet”….
Oh, and if you think Jamin’s acne is bad, you should have seen poor Alicia. From 2 to 6 weeks she had TERRIBLE acne. See this photo? I have edited it a LOT, to remove most of the red, but couldn’t get it all:

i love the new pics, he is so precious. you should come back to flickr!!
aww..he’s soo cute. Love the little baby feet..too precious!
O.M.GOODNESS Jen!!!!
He is so cute and precious & still looks all teeny and newborn-ish to me….I love it 🙂 I will always love that stage & I miss it so much when I see pictures like these.
Yay for the weight gain too! I am so glad that he is doing well so that you do not have to stress over that 🙂
The photos are cute! Well, done, too.
The one where you’re on his level is my favorite, although you are a bit too close (may not have any choice in that, I realize). Closeness produces a distortion — that’s why photographers shoot portraits with a telephoto-type lens.
Down on the floor photos of babies are my favorite — you can get enough room to back up a bit. One other thing to try. Have someone down on the floor with the baby point the camera at you and your husband and your two children — and then have them put the baby’s finger on the button. He may need a bit of help pushing the button, but you get a photograph of what the baby sees — in itself an interesting perspective!
He is hopelessly adorable.
That is all. 🙂
That last one is too precious!
Jenn!! I have missed your blog so much – I’ve been praying for y’all and little Jamin, and I was so thrilled to come and see these pictures of your beautiful boy. I did see that he was born and couldn’t wait to come comment and catch up on how things were going with you. I can’t believe he is 6 weeks old already… 7 by now! He looks like such a sweetie pie. Love that cute nose.
Hope to be around much more – blessings!
Anxiously awaiting a new post….
