Thanks so much for joining us for our Encouragement for Imperfect Moms Series (formerly Imperfect Mom Confessional)! We hope you'll be blessed, encouraged, challenged and comforted all at once. Please let us know if you need prayer - we'd love to pray for you!

Exciting update!
The series is here! It’s here! 😀
Come check it out! If you’re interested in adding your own post, leave a comment. There’s always room. 🙂

I am hosting a series in August, September and October called the Imperfect Mom Confessional. The strain of perfectionism is so strong, even among believers. Everyone wants to put on masks of perfection and not let anyone see the real person. I am looking for contributors who like to write authentically. What we want with IMC is to always strive for Christ’s best, but not expect perfection.
It’s to go with my own site series, Imperfect Mom Confessional. I would need posts about how motherhood isn’t easy street, things get tough, we fail, but it’s still the best job ever. I’d like the posts each to be in between 350 and 950 words.
What’s different about this series is, It doesn’t have to be 100% original content – you can use bits and pieces of other posts on your site if you’d like – just not an entire post that has been previously published. I’d like for there to be at least one Bible verse used, since we’re pointing other moms to the only perfect One.
If you’re interested, please let me know here in the comments, and make sure to leave your email. You can also email me with the subject: Imperfect Mom Confessional to busybeingblessed@gmail.com
Even if you’re interested or not, would you consider posting about it in your newsletter, facebook page, or your blog, to welcome all moms? I’m inviting non-blogger moms and blogger moms alike – the only things we have in common are that we have children, we aren’t perfect, and we are Christians.

More details:
Posts will go out in August (Due August 5), September (Due August 20) and October (Due September 20).
You will need to make a Pinterest image (taller than wide) with your site (if you have one) and my site listed. If you don’t know how to do this, I’m happy to help you.
One post is needed from each author. If you have more than one for me, I’m thrilled to accept it! Just make sure that it’s 1) 100% your very own content and 2) nothing is 100% copied exactly word-for-word on your blog or any other website (this is for SEO purposes. If you don’t know what that means, just ignore!).
YOUR post will be put on MY site, just for clarification.

If you have more questions, please ask away! 🙂

If you join, you will be among many wonderful authors who are new young mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and more. Seasoned bloggers and newbies, and even those who don’t blog at all are all coming together for this amazing series!

If you have a post you’d like to share but don’t want to change it enough for the guest post, I’m also going to have a round-up of appropriate posts on the last day. That might be something you’d want to have shared. 🙂

JennAbout Jenn: I’m a Christian wife to an amazing man (since 1998) and a stay-at-home-teaching mom to four special & incredible boys (born in 2004, 2005, 2007, & 2009). I’m messy and cluttered, but working on that (really, I am!). I’m a discouraged perfectionist and a classic procrastinator who probably has both ADD & Autism, so I tend to jump from topic to topic (and activity to activity) without notice. My Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. I’m an INFP who enjoys friends but loves to be alone. I love getting and giving hugs, and encouragement is a Spiritual gift of mine that can too-easily be turned into the weapon of discouragement, if I’m not careful. I enjoy writing, singing, words, drawing, photography, digital creations, and reading. Oh, and pizza, tacos, and steak. Now I’m hungry. That reminds me; I eat gluten free and try to eat organic and avoid white sugar and GMOs as much as possible.  Find me on Facebook (Writer/Editor page) (Fan page), Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.
