What is Grace & Truth?

Grace & Truth (a blog Link-up, Linky or Link Party) exists to point people to Jesus! We hope this link-up will be a source of encouragement each and every week. It’s run by 7 Christian women. If you’re a blogger our hope is that you’ll use this space as a way to meet new friends within the Christian blogging community. If you’re a reader our hope is that you’ll meet new bloggers that love Jesus just as much as you do! Most of all, we hope you’ll meet Jesus here.

At the beginning of each new link-up week (which happens to be Friday), the Hosts will post their favorite post of the previous week, to be “featured” (see below for directions on how to be featured!).

Off-topic for a second…

Really quickly, I wanted to extend the invite for everyone to join me in a series I’ll be hosting in a couple months. I have posted the invitation on several facebook groups already and gotten a great response.
I am looking for contributors for a series that I’d like to do in late August through October. It’s to go with my site series, Imperfect Mom Confessional. I would need posts about how motherhood isn’t easy street, things get tough, we fail, but it’s still the best job ever. I’d like the posts each to be in between 350 and 900 words. It doesn’t have to be 100% brand-new, never-been-seen content – you can use bits and pieces of other posts on your site if you’d like – just not an entire post that has been previously published. It also needs to be 100% written by you only – no PLR or ghost writers. I’d like for there to be at least one Bible verse used, so only Christian moms need to apply. 😉
If you’re interested, please let me know here in a comment, on facebook PM, or through the contact form, and let me know which month you’d prefer to have the post in to me. I’ll also need your email to invite you to a super top-secret group on facebook. 🙂
Okay, that’s it! On to our regularly scheduled Link-up! 🙂

Featured Post for Week 26

Welcome to Grace & Truth Week 26! This week has been a strange one. I’ve been energetic one minute, and drop-dead tired the next. No clue what’s going on! I’m so happy that hubby has next week off both jobs, so we can hang out and have a relaxing time together. 🙂

If you’re new to Grace&Truth, welcome! If you’re a veteran, I’m so thankful you’re sticking with us! 🙂

I loved Kelsey’s reminder that God loves them more than we do!! What mom hasn’t needed this reminder every now and then?!

God loves our children more

And that is why I am insanely grateful that we have access to the throne. When I fail (and I do a lot), I can cry out to God. I can call out to Him, and He hears me. I confess, and I am strengthened by Him, the One who has the power to bring the dead back to life!

And He loves Simon more than I do.

It’s hard to fathom this because my love is like an unstoppable torrential downpour, a force to be reckoned with. But just as God came down in the flesh and stretched His arms on a cross for me, He did so for my son, too.
Kelsey M Ferguson

You’ve gotta go read the whole post. I know it will bless you.

Congratulations, Kelsey! You totally deserve it! I think this would also be an amazing post to go with my series, if you want to check a few paragraphs up. 😀

Here is a button, just in case you need it. 😉

1.) Follow your hosts via their blog and/or social media channels. This is not mandatory, but appreciated!

2.) Leave 1-2 of your most recent CHRISTIAN LIVING posts. Please do not link DIY, crafts, recipes, non-relevant reviews, ads, etc. Links of this kind will be deleted.
We also reserve the right to delete posts that don’t align with the theme of evangelical Christianity or that are deemed by the hostesses to be inappropriate.

3.) Visit 1-2 other links and leave a meaningful comment! We want to encourage community, so please don’t link and run!

4.) All links are randomly sorted – feel free to link as early or as late as you’d like. The visible playing field is even!

In order to be featured next week:
5.) Grab a button or link back to encourage new linkers. This is not mandatory to participate, but is required to be featured. Any place noticeable is fine – within your post or in your sidebar.

7.) By linking up you agree to allow the hosts to use your featured post image if you are chosen as a feature for next week.

JennAbout Jenn: I’m a Christian wife to an amazing man (since 1998) and a stay-at-home-teaching mom to four special & incredible boys (born in 2004, 2005, 2007, & 2009). I’m messy and cluttered, but working on that (really, I am!). I’m a discouraged perfectionist and a classic procrastinator who probably has both ADD & Autism, so I tend to jump from topic to topic (and activity to activity) without notice. My Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. I’m an INFP who enjoys friends but loves to be alone. I love getting and giving hugs, and encouragement is a Spiritual gift of mine that can too-easily be turned into the weapon of discouragement, if I’m not careful. I enjoy writing, singing, words, drawing, photography, digital creations, and reading. Oh, and pizza, tacos, and steak. Now I’m hungry. That reminds me; I eat gluten free and try to eat organic and avoid white sugar and GMOs as much as possible.  Find me on Facebook (Writer/Editor page) (Fan page), Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.
