If I were to pick just ONE clothing store I had to shop at for the rest of my life, it would be (well, aside from Victoria’s Secret)….bet you guessed it….Kohl’s! And here are MY reasons why: 1. I can find just about everything I need, and more often than not WANT, shopping in just…
I feel awful that last week I was so out of it that I missed Thankful Thursday! You know it would have been all about my mom. So I’ll just do it late for Mother’s Day – I’m into being thankful for her all the time anyway. My mom is one of the sweetest ladies…
Hi I’m Nina. 🙂 I am married to Bradley and am mama to 1 girl (LeAnna 5) and 2 boys (Clayton 4 and Carson 3). Boredom is not a problem at our house. 😉 When I was a little girl of 5 years old, I wanted nothing more than to grow up, marry a boy,…
Sometimes (a lot!) it’s the kids who teach a lesson. My boys give me ideas often, and this is the most recent. Boys are something else. No matter where they are, they can turn playtime into a game of war. Have you caught your boys playing war lately? Today we were at the school playground,…
I just love The Skit Guys. They are great; so much fun, always clean, and safe for the kids to watch with me. They REALLY appreciate mothers. I mean, I saw their new video today and noticed they had eight videos just about/for moms! Those are what I’m going to share with you today, in…

I was blessed to receive a copy of the book Just 18 Summers by Michelle Cox and Rene Gutteridge. From the back cover: “After the tragic death of Butch Browning’s wife, Jenny, four families begin to realize how precious—and fleeting—their time together is. Each is at a different stage in life: Butch is facing single…
Welcome to the second Thankful Thursday Link-up hosted on BBB! Last week didn’t go very well, and I’m disappointed to learn that I don’t even get any more image posts for the link-up, unless I pay for an upgrade. Not cool! Oh well – we’ll just deal with text links. 🙂 I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…
Hi, everyone, I’m Amanda Goff, the other Amanda. 😉 I’m glad to be here and share something I’ve been passionate about! Is there anyone out there looking to make a change? If we are honest with ourselves we all have an area (or areas in my case) where we could stand to make some changes….
This is only an excerpt. Please see the full article at Prov. 31. Well, can you believe it? We are already halfway through week 3 of Living So That by Wendy Blight. I am really loving all the wisdom that I am gaining through Wendy’s teachings. What an amazing habit we are forming of being…
I have recently been more looking into All About Learning Press‘s curriculum. I have heard of All About Reading and All About Spelling, of course, but have been really happy with the Christian Light Education curriculum I’ve been using, so saw no need to switch anything. However, Jamin is a completely different learner than his…

Autism is a HUGE thing in the US. It’s time to make everyone AWARE and ACCEPTING of Autism and those who have it. None of my children are diagnosed with anything (except Joe, who was diagnosed with PDD-NOS several years ago), but I am pretty sure at least 3 (and possibly all 4) are on…
Thanks so much to Roeshel for the use of her amazing tire images! Check out her blog post about upcycling an old tire. Sometimes I feel like such a failure! More often than I’m comfortable with, my little world seems to spin out of my control. I *line up my failures, and count them again….
This is my honest review. Woohoo! Another home run! I give On 4/19 4 and a half stars. The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is because the author has so much to live up to after her first book, UnMending the Veil, blew me away. Of course, 4.5 rounds up…
A couple years ago, my friend Rob from unspace.net sent me a bunch of lovely flower photos, to use for selling, or really whatever I wanted to do with them. I just never got around to making anything with them. Recently, I found the emails with them, and asked him if they were still okay…
I guess I had a bit of an anxiety attack last night but somehow I fell asleep before for an couple of hours before I had to work and woke up feeling a little better. Maybe it was whatever my wife gave me that calmed me down but, anyway, I feel a lot better than…
