Grace & Truth, a blog Link-up or Link Party, exists to point people to Jesus! We hope this link-up will be a source of encouragement each and every week. If you’re a blogger our hope is that you’ll use this space as a way to meet new friends within the Christian blogging community. If you’re a reader our hope is that you’ll meet new bloggers that love Jesus just as much as you do! Most of all, we hope you’ll meet Jesus here.

At the beginning of each new link-up week, the Hosts will post their favorite post of the week, to be “featured” (see below for directions on how to be featured!).

Welcome to Grace & Truth Week 14! Still lots of rain here in IN, but I’m fine with that. 🙂 How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?

If you’re new to Grace&Truth, welcome! If you’re a veteran, I’m so thankful you’re sticking with us! 🙂

This week, I had choose two posts that touched me in different ways.
Dr. Michelle’s post “When Our Body Betrays Us” was another intimate look at her ‘human frailty’ that shows the greatness of our God! I love how God uses our weaknesses for His glory, even in witnessing to others!

After we parted, I sensed the Lord reveal to me that I often allow self-consciousness about my flaws and imperfection to muzzle me, yet He desires to use that very thing to draw others to Him. Truly He does use ALL things together for our good! (Romans 8:28)

Congratulations, Dr Michelle! I realize you’ve been featured before, congratulations again! 🙂

Here is a button, just in case you’ve lost it. 😉

And Sarah Ann’s post was so convicting.

3 Harmful Mom Personalities

In fact, I look around and wonder why many of us have fallen away from God’s design for wives and mothers.
There seems to be three harmful mom personalities that have emerged in modern times, and each one is detrimental to the family unit in its own way.

I’m sure you’ve been featured before, Sarah Ann, but I believe it’s a first from me! 🙂 Congratulations!

JennAbout Jenn: I’m a Christian wife to an amazing man (since 1998) and a stay-at-home-teaching mom to four special & incredible boys (born in 2004, 2005, 2007, & 2009). I’m messy and cluttered, but working on that (really, I am!). I’m a discouraged perfectionist and a classic procrastinator who probably has both ADD & Autism, so I tend to jump from topic to topic (and activity to activity) without notice. My Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. I’m an INFP who enjoys friends but loves to be alone. I love getting and giving hugs, and encouragement is a Spiritual gift of mine that can too-easily be turned into the weapon of discouragement, if I’m not careful. I enjoy writing, singing, words, drawing, photography, digital creations, and reading. Oh, and pizza, tacos, and steak. Now I’m hungry. That reminds me; I eat gluten free and try to eat organic and avoid white sugar and GMOs as much as possible.  Find me on Facebook (Writer/Editor page) (Fan page), Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.
