Autism is a HUGE thing in the US. It’s time to make everyone AWARE and ACCEPTING of Autism and those who have it.
None of my children are diagnosed with anything (except Joe, who was diagnosed with PDD-NOS several years ago), but I am pretty sure at least 3 (and possibly all 4) are on the Spectrum. And I think I may be on it as well.
The challenges that kids (and adults) on the Spectrum face are multiple.
sensory issues
social hindrances
communication difficulties
repetitive behaviors
some kids have medical issues as well
My kids and I have almost all of those issues, in varying degrees.
